Yes- I presume you mean a senior in high school class by class XII. I will never forget the great investigative project we had in our senior physics. It was a contest that involved the use of a gieger-muller tube and a small quanity of an unknown radio active isotope. Only the teacher knew the idenity of the isotope. Each student was given several chances to test one of the isotope samples under the gieger-muller tube and the first student to discover the true idenity of the isotope by measuring its half life was given a reward (in our case extra credit on the final exam) Each student was allowed only one guess and if they guessed wrong they were out of the contest. By the way the unkown was P32
