It varies and it varies. Stronger earthquakes are obviously less frequent. I wouldn't let it influence your decision to live there. If you're going to be standing on top of the fault when the big shift eventually happens, then so be it. You won't be on your own.

regrettably, many present day study have shown the l. a. section has over a ninety 5% of being hit with an earthquake it truly is 7.0 or above in the subsequent 30 years...i'm GETTING THE HELL OUT OF right here ASAP...

Everyday! Their just too small to feel. A few times a year there's some you can feel. I've been through all since the big one in 1970's. I rather have them than tornados or hurricanes or snow..

there hasnt been one in like over 10yrs so how often when ever they come how hard the last on was like 6. something i expect soon therer will be a very big one but thats just me

Often and mostly mild normally. Worst are on those extremely hot days and nights, long and scary.

Actually, there are small quake everyday but no real big one since the Northridge quake.
