LOL, I'd say if you don't know where you've been, how the heck can you tell where your going?

Well, as the saying goes, I think it is always good to know where you have been so that you can learn from your mistakes in order to get where you are going. But if you, somewhere down the road, get permanent amnesia then you might have to start all over again not knowing where you have been but trying to know where you want to go.

You could always back up to see where you've been. Act surprised though, more convincing to the people you know, but have yet to meet.

that's a really generic question, but yes, for sure!

for 33 years, i was never happy. didn't really know why.. well, the signs were obvious for years and i just couldn't allow myself to see them or believe them (heck, who would want to believe that they were a transsexual???)

but i have recently recognized my true feelings, and i am on the road of an amazing adventure.. being a male who desires to be a girl is not easy.. it's honestly been 33 years of emotional hell for me.. but the future is finally looking bright for me, albeit very scary!

but yes, now that i know where i have really been, my path to where i am going couldn't be clearer!

Henry ford said that "You can't tell where you are going until you know where you have been".
I think you need a reference point in order to move forward!

None of us really 'know' where we are going...we just kinda steer ourselves off in the direction we think we wanna go...and hope.
