My whole life I have seen 'ghosts', and had odd things happen to me.
The first time I REMBER seeing a spirit I was about 9 years old on holiday in Wales with school. I woke in the night to see a figure moving towards me, and then I dont remeber much else. I got severly told off by my teachers for 'making up stories. I told my mum who did some research into it, and found out that the holiday camp was built on old roman burrial grounds, and there had been many sightings there.
As I have gotten older I have seen less, but more often hear things instead. Without sounding like a complete crazy-loon; I have heard a young girl talking to me several times at my mums house (but can never remember what she says). There have been too many experiences for me to list, some very frightening, some pleasant.

Why sure! Everybody knows that if you can't explain something, it doesn't mean you don't know how it works or why it happened. It has to be supernatural! Like, this one time, I was sitting allllll alone in my house and something fell over in the next room that was coincidentially full of rambunctious cats! It must have been a ghost!
Besides, some people say they've actually SEEN ghosts. Isn't that proof enough? I mean, people. SAYING things. People saying things has to be the most convincing evidence there is! You'd have to be an idiot to ever doubt something someone said to you or how honestly they're portraying it to you or even themselves! By the by, I have some GREAT beachside real estate you might be interested in...

Hello
Yes ghost are real. I've had experiences with ghost all my life. You did not say specific things regarding your ghost. Did you move into a house where someone died in the place where you reside? Did a close friend or family member pass away? Sometimes deceased relatives, and close friends will visit the people they loved, and cared for. Is it a good ghost? Is it a bad ghost. Their is a difference between spirits, and demon's. Which one do you feel you have? The ghost is there for a reason. Ask the ghost what it wants, and who it is?Talk to the ghost, and eventually he/she will go away, or will continue to remain but it is there for a reason, and you will have to find out the reason, and who it is first.

I think I FELT a ghost in the winter of 1981/1982. Freaked me out! but no, I didn't see a ghost.

More like time and space spiraled to a stop for a second with the accompanying sound of a dying siren, then everything started back up again. Only time I have ever experienced anything like it.

My grandmother had lived in the house for 60 years or more as did my grand dad and his dad... It didn't feel like family though...

Have no idea what it was, but was living a life of solitude and no mind altering substances of any sort not even a beer in months. Not tired, no explanation at all.

I saw a ghost in a nursing home that I worked in. As the home was on 3 floors, in a very old building, it had very steep stairs used by the staff and a lift used by the residents. The building had a lot of history...amoung these, it was used as a hospital during WWII.
I had only been there a few weeks and with nearly 60 residents, I wasn't quite familiar with them all.
I was busy in the bathroom with a colleague preparing a wee lady for bed.
I had washed out her stockings and was going to her bedroom to collect a few of her things and put her stockings on the radiator to dry.
As I walked along a narrow, dark passage, I saw another lady walk towards me, I could see her very clearly and could even describe her clothing...she also had a very distinguishing feature. She was about 10 foot from me when I reached the 1st ladies bedroom, I turned and stepped over the threshold. Suddenly I remembered she was at the top of the steep stairs so turned around to face her and she was gone.

I went to the top of the stairs and she wasn't on them. I ran down the stairs and looked through the door onto another long dark passage... She wasn't there either.
I went back up the stairs, walked the length of the passage, looking in other bedrooms and she was nowhere to be found.

I went back to the 1st ladies bedroom, got her things and went back to the bathroom.

I asked my colleague who the lady was, describing her and voiced my concerns about the stairs.

She looked startled and told me the woman I described sounded like wee Jessie.....but she had been dead 6 months. I didn't believe her...putting it off as her being mistaken.

The next morning all the staff were talking. Everyone of them confirmed that the only person in the home with this particular feature that I decribed had died 6 months before.

I wasn't too confident walking that long, dark corridor on my own that morning that's for sure!!!!

I stayed overnight in an old Victorian hotel in Ireland a few years ago and had a strange experience. Was big creepy place and i was lying in bed watching the tv when the main light switched off (could hear it going off from the switch), then the light above the mirror went on and the wee pull chord was moving around. Picture on the tv kept going fuzzy as if there was someone walking around the room too. Husband said something touched his arm during the night too. When i went to the reception next morning to pay, i was asked if we had any problems with "the ghost" in our room.. Freaked me out so much i never went back!

I saw something or someone when I was a child(about 9),a figure of a woman at a window in my mums room.I saw this for 2 days running.Originally I thought it was a shadow.Out of childish curiosity I moved but the figure didn't.I can only describe what I saw as looking like a lady in a shroud and I thought she was an Asian lady wearing a sari. The really odd thing about it is that I've since heard that if you see a lady in a shroud it's not an Asian lady as I first thought but an Angel.I like to think that's what I saw as 2 weeks later I was hit by a car driven by a drunk driver at 90 mph outside my house and in line with that very window and obviously I survived.Maybe it was a guardian angel.Spooky eh!

Yes, they exist. I have taken pictures of ghosts, recorded their voices, and even heard them speaking to me a few times. As far as actually seeing one with the naked eye, that is a rare occurrance. Sometimes they appear as a mist, a shadow, or even a dancing ball of light. The full body apparitions that most people associate with ghosts are the most rare and very few have the opportunity to see one.

Good question. I don't believe I've actually seen a ghost. I really don't know if they exist.
