die slowly, knowing i was about to die, it would provide inspiration to leave something behind to be remembered by. That way life wouldn't be a total waste.

First instinct- I'd want to die suddenly. I worry so much that knowing I was dying would freak me out, but the other side is that knowing would put things in perspective and give me a chance to say goodbye. (sigh) Makes me want to appreciate life

A person hads no choice really. Everyone whether demented, in a coma, on their deathbed or about to crash the car into a wall has one instance of lucidity and knows they will die, in fact "tastes death". So whether it be sudden or long term, man has no choice really as everyone will "taste" it.

i'm kind of a dyslexic procrastinator, 'cause i tend to put off the things i want to do rather than the things i need to do. so i think because of that i'd want to know i was gonna die, 'cause then maybe i'd actually do some of the things i've been wanting to do...

of course i DO know that i'm gonna die, because we're all gonna die, and still i put off doing these things that i wanna do. and i really don't know why... too scared, i guess. *sigh*

cheers,
Shauna!

i'd rather know so that i could finish things i had started, do what i've been putting off, and tell my husband and kids what wonderful people they are and how blessed they have made my life just by chosing to let me share theirs. i'd help my kids to understand that i will never be far away and that they should take their time joining me and that i will always be proud of them as long as they remain kind to others, obey the laws, and do whatever makes them happy.

Die suddenly; I'm already living like I'm dying.

good question ....
i would like to know that i am dying cuz then i can plan my time effectively like funeral plans, inheritance ect..........and also i would like to do stuff that i would never do like get really high and then get really drunk and pass out that type of thing like just be totally wasted and then i would do something totally good so experience the two extremes of life where as most ppl who is not dying would not do :o)

I'd definitely want to know.

To have fun, say what I need to say, and leave no loose strings.
