Has anyone lost a friend in a sudden death last year?

Yes I have, two months ago. My friend since childhood couldn't find a ride home from the bars. She was drunk, stole a car. The cops chased her to the Reserve where we live. Well where I'm from but where she lived. She didn't make a turn, went into the ditch and died. They couldn't get her body out for 3 hours+. Her family was all at the scene, just standing there waiting for the Jaws of life to come.

Always tough to deal with the loss of a friend. Some days I can't even believe that she's really gone. Seeing her family and her daughter when I go back home to visit, it's tough.

I lost a very dear frirend last year and it shouced me to find out that two days before, we were laughing together! It is always hard to loose someone close; but I believe that our soul goes on! Remember one thing, they are alive in our hearts and minds as long as we are here. I believe that we are all here to do something and when we complete our task ,we go home!

my best friend was stabbed to death 10 min after he left my house on Aug 8 2006

It was two years ago and this person lived downstairs from me and i thought this person was just away for the day. He died while i was at work and the landlord knocked on my door and told me the next day. I was devastated i moved away because i could not live there anymore thinking about him being dead in his house.

yeah..
he was recovering form some kind of disease and i visited him in the evening. we had a few talk about school and stuff..after nearly 2 hours, i had to go home and as soon as i reached home, my mom was standing at the doorway and had a look on her face that i will never forget, she told me that my friend died after i left him and that was it..
