Absolutely! With so much information available on the internet, it has helped to push media to change more rapidly just to stay ahead of trends picked up by the average 12 year olds.
It definitely pushed television news to release stories before checking its facts, which makes it less reliable.

I don't think it neccessarily influences how media and tv is created, but I definitely think it does influence how content is marketed. Some tv shows benefit from a wide audience due to hype on the internet, and some shows can even find an audience based on the internet discussion, reaction, reviews, etc.

Definitely. The broadcast media is bleeding viewers because of the flexibility of the internet. Why do you think all the news networks now have websites... why we can register to get email alerts regularly from them... why they are providing content you can download to your cellphones. Same with the Entertainment programs. If you watch a show through to the end, some networks now say: "to watch more [fill in the name of the program], go to [network name here}.com.

Definitely. Internet is well accessed by anybody including children from toddlers age to teenagers where information on anything can be found. Same for TV and Video Programmes where it could pose a danger to children and teenagers whereby the children are exposed to violence, sex, crimes etc. I hope you understand my point and i hope this answers your question. Good luck.
