Hmmm....this one is kinda confusing in a way. You said that she is saying she loves you but isn't ready for a relationship. Well I don't think she knows what love really is (I could be wrong, just a guess) and I think she has commitment issues or maybe even self issues. If she really truly loved you in that way with all her heart then she would be ready to the next step with you and she is unwilling to do that. I say the best thing to do is come right out and be honest with her and let her know how you feel....that you are in love with her and feel like you two should be in a relationship. If she still seems uneasy or is still stern to the fact that she doesn't want a relationship then I say give her an ultimatum. I know it may seem harsh, but at the same time she might be playing head games with you. Tell her if she loves you then there will be some kind of a relationship and if she doesn't want a relationship then you cannot continue to keep seeing her in the way you have been. And if that is the case and she chooses the second choice, then stay away from her a while even if it is hard cuz I know you are in love with her and see if she comes to you and acts differently and if she doesn't then move on hunny, cuz she was just playing games with you and was never worth your time and you would have end up getting hurt even more in the long run. I hope this helps, and good luck!

I can't speak for lesbian culture, but in most contexts I know of REGARDLESS of sexual orientation, that has a 50/50 chance of being a polite rejection. No matter the case, move on. "Not ready for a relationship" can be a damaged goods warning too, sometimes.

Who thinks shes not ready for a relationship, you or her? If its her let her go she isn't committed to one with you. If it is you, ask her point blank questions. See if you like what you hear. If you are unsure watch her actions.....they may be louder than her words.
