I think Myspace.com really helps and its free, try it out im sure you'll like it and if you dont you could delete it

My advice is DONT make friends over the internet. Gurl, there are some crazos out there, not to mention perves!(as a matter of a fact, somone tryed to be my "friend" right here on yahoo answers.) If you want some real friends, go out,.... be more social. If you do dicide to get a virtual friend, keep it STRICTLY on the interntet, and don't give out any personal information.

There are many news, bad news of a girl like you looking for a friend over the internet, I am aware that that there are many good people out there but htere are also bad ones, my advice is to be careful

Making friends in the internet will not be difficult. In chat rooms, or any medium in the internet that encourages communication among people, it won't be difficult to find people whom you share similar interests with. It all starts with the interests or any point/area/aspect where your interests will meet. The problem will be that some people might not be true to their words. So you have to be really careful. xD

I find it very hard to find friends over the internet! Its hard to trust what people tell you. My space has been the most succsessful way for me. Its a good way to keep incontact with friends and family that live far from you. Good luck! I will be your friend.

simple...make a myspace ( www.myspace.com ) account or one of those social sites...post your interest like what kind of movies you like, what kind of music you like and things like that. some one in the other end will search for people w/ the same interest and you can start conversations about those things, and you guys can become great friend :D...BEWARE..there are many weirdos out there so be careful.

play the game RuneScape...my son found his girlfriend on that game...they got to know each other quite well...I think they are going to get married one day...how cool is that...oh yea they lived 4,000 miles from each other...but they are together now...my other son has a great friend in Australia...and Hawaii and canada....
