It doesnt always lead to a child. If you use the proper protection you should be ok. But condoms aren't 100% effective. I believe if your not ready to have a baby then your not ready to have sex.

If you want to try for a baby make sure you are on no contraception. It helps to know when you periods are due and how long you menstrual cycle is. How you work that out is you count from the 1st day of your last period until the first day of you next period, then that will tell you how long you menstrual cycle is, mostly it's between 26 and 34 days I think. You can go to websites online that tell you when you are most fertile, or your can just search Google for "Ovulation Calculator". Also your cervical mucus and cervical position can indicate where you are in regards to your fertility(how fertile you are). Most of these things can be found online. For example if you cervix feels soft and the little hole in it open, that is a good sign and clear, egg white like cervical mucus is a good sign also. Hope this helps. Plus, cutting down or stopping drinking and smoking helps, being healthy, eating well, like veges, fruit, red meat and taking folic acid is great too, plus eating foods high in folate is helpful.

First and Best answer for you is to wait a few more years, like 20 or so. if you are having to ask means you are too young to worry. Try potty training first and the rest will come naturally.
