FOR ALL U TENDULKAR LOVERS

2005/2006 STATS
SR Tendulkar - India 9 MATCHES 13 INNINGS 1 N/O 335 RUNS 109 HIGH SCORE - 1 27.92 AVERAGE

RT Ponting - Australia 12 MATCHES 23 INNINGS 4 N/O 1483 RUNS 149 HIGH SCORE 78.05 BATTING AVERAGE

2006/2007 STATS SO FAR

SR Tendulkar - India 3 MATCHES 6 INNINGS - 199 RUNS 64 HIGH SCORE 33.17 BATTING AVERAGE

RT Ponting - Australia 5 MATCHES 8 INNINGS 576 RUNS 196 HIGH SCORE 82.29 BATTING AVERAGE

SO U THINK TENDULKAR IS A BETTER BATSMAN THAN PONTING? 2004/2005 THEY PLAYED 9 TESTS EACH PUNTER HAD 2 MORE INNINGS AND AVERAGED 23 RUNS PER INNINGS MORE THAN UR HERO

2003/2004 PONTING AGAIN AVERAGED 22 RUNS PER INNINGS MORE THAN TENDULKAR

2002/2003 PONTING AVERAGED 30 RUNS PER INNINGS MORE THAN TENDULKAR

THE LAST TIME TENDULKAR SCORED MORE RUNS IN A CALENDAR YEAR THAN PONTING WAS 2001/2002 AND PONTING STILL AVERAGED MORE THAN TENDULKAR THAT YEAR!!

FACE IT PONTING IS THE BEST BATSMAN IN THE WORLD AND HAS BEEN FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS TENDULKAR IS NO LONGER THE BATTING "GENIUS" HE ONCE WAS HES IS NOTHING MORE THAN AN AVERAGE BATSMAN IN TODAYS GAME HE WOULDNT MAKE THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM HES IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH ANY MORE SO GET OVER IT SACHIN IS NOT GOD

At the moment Ricky Ponting is the best, the most dangerous is Adam Gilchrist. And as much as I hate to say it Australia will win the world cup...again!

the best odi batsman in my opinion has to be viv richards in the 80s lara in the early 90's to mid 90's tendulkar in late 90's and very early 2000's and now ponting/dhoni. Dhoni is a revolutionary batsman! people just think it took viv richards (best odi batsman of all time) 5 years to get a 750 odi rating, it took lara 3 years and it took tendulkar 3 years. lit took dhoni a little over a year dhoni will improve for about 2 more years after which he will be at his peak, i think he is going to be the best batsman from the year 2009 or 2010 to atleast 2014/2015

here dhoni vs lara

http://www.lgiccrankings.com/odi/player-comparison-results.php?stattype=batting&name=dhoni&name_selected=6609&name2=lara&name_selected2=1726&type=Compare

notice how good both did in their first 2 years, comparing the rest of laras graph to dhonis is pointless since dhoni hasnt reached his peak yet

one more thing if you want to see who the best batsman ever was..then there cannot be any dispute..

http://www.lgiccrankings.com/test/batting/player-display.php?id=572&graph=ranking hands down sir don bradman(who incidentaly scored his all time best against us)
