Casino Royale - cause it was a return to a great Bond film, something that had been lacking since Golden Eye and really hadn't been seen enough since Sean Connery stopped playing Bond.

Batman Begins - similar reason, it was a return to a darker Batman like the movies of Tim Burton and not the over the top comical looking Batman movies with George Clooney

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead man's chest
was an awesome movie with everything in it, comedy, romance, action, drama, sci fi.

Casino Royale
Absolutely Bond! since i am a big fan of Ian Flemings novels, i was so pleased to note that Daniel Craigs portrayal of Bond was the closest to the books that the films had ever gotten

My 2 choices would have to be:
Million Dollar Baby--Staring Clint Eastwood who also directed & won an Oscar for Best Achievement In Directing--Morgan Freeman who also won an Oscar for Best Actor in a supporting role,[ which he truly deserved, as I think he's one of Hollywood's best--& also starred with Clint Eastwood in the movie Unforgiven{1992)],--Hillary Swank who won an Oscar for Best Actress in a leading role. It also won an Oscar for Motion Picture Of The Year{ 2004.}
One of Canada's best writers was also involved in this movie with Clint Eastwood, who C.Eastwood says is one of his favorite people to work with, that being Paul Haggis.
The other favorite movie of mine was The Terminal{2004 also} with the wonderfull Tom Hanks, the beautifull Catherine Zeta Jones {now Catherine Zetta Jones-Douglas, as she married Michael Douglas in 2000.}
Stanley Tucci was also in this movie, as you may remember he was also in The Road To Perdition with Tom Hanks & the great Paul Newman.

pursuit of happyness-absolutely loved it. it is inspirational and motivating. to watch someone go from nothing and work so hard to become something is not something easily forgotten. the fact that it is based on a true story makes it even more inspiring.

pirates of the carribean 2- loved that they brought more depth to the movies. i thought there were great subplots. it also did a great job at making me extremely impatient for the third one
