Would the blemishes be very obvious to the naked eye? Would I or others be able to see them?

Most likely, with I1, it will affect the "fire" or sparkle of the stone. It won't reflect as much light as other diamonds. The imperfections are technically visible to the naked eye but someone would have to know what they are looking for to see them, and they'd have to be very close (diamond about 2 inches away from their eye).
