Every thing we do frustrates. For example.
We here people say "you must have lots of patience to do that"
It is not patience it is impatience (and associated frustration) that gets anything done.
If we were patient nothing would get finished.
work? games? LIFE?

You are near, very near. And I think the better word is dissatisfaction. Frustration is pejorative.

Man's inability to be satiated (his greed) lead to his discovery or invention of things. When he was not satisfied that he points things, he discovered language. When he is not satisfied that he gets attacked by animals at night, he discovered fire. When he wasn't satisfied that he travels by land, he created the steamboat, and very soon the plane.

Your lack of satisfaction creates a want or a need. The want or a need pushes for things to be done. Cause and Effect. Frustration comes when the need isn't met. But the push essentially comes from the need, not the frustration.

well being patient wouldnt get much done, but would being impatient and doing things hastly get much? the answer is no. "patience is a virtue". it is the key to getting were we need to go. Take long and slow steps not fast and small steps. i think life is based on doing what we feel is right. i mean, things gets frustrating because it is not what we want to do. say u have a job u dont like ur job, u'll get frustrated more than if u love ur job. im not saying we should all do whatver we want but we should take in religion, our morals etc to set our standards and do the thing that what we feel is right. "patience" is correct in "you must have lots of patience to do that" because u must have a lot of impatience to do that is not correct.

The only thing I've ever seen frustration get done is destruction.
People get impatient, then frustrated then Angry.
It's I who says "you must have patience otherwise you'll just get frustrated and Nothing will get done". Unless you consider the destruction of something the finished product?

The buddhists say all suffering comes from desire, so you aren't the first person to think on this line.
And yes, I tend to agree with your point, if we weren't not frustrated we would have little motivation. Patience is valuable but so is motivation and a sense of urgency.
Seeking the meaning of life is an impossible folly.

Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems. Frustration can become a thing of the past.

Henry David Thoreau said "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation."

or

"Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them."

Desperation, frustration? What's the diff?

Life is a bunch of moments that we have to interpretate and deal with to the best of our abilities !
