please get a second opinion. I know many women that have had a vaginal delivery with a polyp on their cervix, including me.
it can be done. what often happens is the polyp is torn a bit and bleeds, usually stopping pretty quick on its own.
it is extremely rare that the plyp will block a fully dilated cervix and prevent the baby from emerging.

Most of the time C-Sections are uneeded. I have had alot of friends whose doctors have told them that the baby is too big for their cervix/cervix is too small etc. when it wasn't the case. My one friend went in and was told oh this baby is going to be 9 pounds and you are too little to deliver this baby we should schedule a c-section. Well she had the baby perfectly fine the natural way as women have been doing for centuries.
Did you know C-Sections are mostly done on Fridays? Convenient ..the doctor doesn't have to wait around to dilate fully when labor is "scheduled". I am biased in this answer having a natural labor but I would get a second opinion honestly. C-Sections are a big deal, expensive and uneeded most of the time.

Well I'm a dad with a 9 month old son so i can't really say i have, but my wife did. After she had a little tiny scar that looks like a smile (hehehe) and she is back to normal. She had some abdominal pain for a day or two but was fine. She had a c-section because a while back she had a cyst rupture on her uterus and make a hole all the way through it. It made the pregnancy a little more complicated but we both enjoyed it (ok maybe me more then her). Don't be too frightened and try to enjoy your pregnancy before your sick of being pregnant and having to go pee every time you stand up!!!

I didnt have one because of polyps but I have had two now and I am going on my third any time now. They are not that bad as long as your OB/GYN will talk to you. Tell him you are scared and then together you can brainstorm ideas on how to make it more comfotable for you. I just needed to know what was going on and my Doc was GREAT! They really are not scary.

Let me tell you what's really scary. Before my first pregnancy I was 5'1" and 110 pounds. I delivered a nine pound baby. I begged for a c-section but nobody believed the baby would be that big. He was and he ripped me to pieces. C-section is not that bad, the worst parts are the gas and the healing under the first layer of skin because it itches and u can't scratch it. Anyhow, you're going to be a mom and that's much scarier than the delivery itself. When its over, you'll be so happy with the baby you'll wonder why you were ever scared in the first place. Don't worry yourself!

i had to have a scheduled c section cos my baby was breech. at first i was a bit freaked out but i really focussed on the positive side of it, that i wouldn't have to go through the pain of labour etc. the main positive of course is that however it happens, at the end, you are going to have a beautiful little miracle in your arms. when i had mine, all the fears and negativity flew out the window once i was looking down at her. the c section was so quick and the recovery wasn't that bad. natural labour isn't exactly a walk in the park! good luck...

Get a second and third opinion. I had a c-section and it was no picnic. Neither is natural birth, but the recovery time is much shorter and it is better for the baby's lungs and development to go through labor.

i do not recognize yet i imagine you want to finish somewhat severe analyze in this. possibly verify with professionals yet be careful because some professionals would opt for to cover for the physician in the journey that they imagine there became any incorrect doing. i'd also communicate over with a criminal specialist. Boy this became an noticeably unusual and scary adventure. verify with professionals and see what they imagine and bypass from there. best of success to you and your toddler.

I'd get a second opinion. Some doctors ARE just c-section happy. IF you can do this naturally, you should!

Don't be scared. But you should make your doctor wait until you're showing signs of labor to do the c-section. Most doctors will try and force you to schedule ahead of time, but it's better for you and the baby to go into labor first.
