Keep IE7 installed for Microsoft things like Windows Update, but don't use it. Try Firefox, it is the fastest browser IMO. Others will say Opera is better, and it is a nice browser. It all comes down to what you need it for.

Firefox is better than IE7, even if IE7 was working for you. It has like 10 times the features. When you get it loaded, and presuming you do not have troubles, make sure that you explore, especially the part marked bookmarks.

Make sure you do it this way to remove IE7
To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."
Uninstall that,restart your PC and you are on IE6

download, tip install by double click, set firewall to permitt new browser: start new browser ( for some firewalls this prompts You to permitt).

Try Firefox2.0 from

It is free. Also you can download
useful add ons to block ads, to switch
over to IE etc.
Para two :; For IE Try windows update
Try add remove programs
and try repair IE.

Just download FireFox or Opera and install. You don't have to uninstall IE if you don't want to or can't.
