If you submit to www.grimmyproductions.co.uk. If it's any good they publish it and there is a competition every time for the best. There is a limit on the amount of words to 3000, so you would have to rind your work down. You can see what the standard of writing is in their magazine which is called Delivered. It's worth the subscription if you are a writer to see what other people are up to. I hope this helps

hi I found this answer in a unrelat5ed question, Maybe the Person DAVID Posted it to the wrong Q.

There is this one which has just start for new / unpublished authors.

The basic idea is that the writer will put a sample of their work on the site for everyone to look at. Then if you like what you have seen you contact the person direct for a full copy (which can be sent via e-mail).

I've tried to get stuff published, and I know how difficult it is, so this site is fantastic for writers who have received a lot of rejections and are about to give up.

It seems fairly priced as well (compared to other self publish sites) as they charge a fee per sample of work submitted.

_You could also look up Vanity puiblishing,

Although you have to pay the publisher for the printing and then sell your book yourself to get the money back.

I have been writing short stories for years. Same as you - people like them and so on.
Publishing them though is virtually impossible.
I got to putting them onto my web page. But then, nobody read them!
In desperation, therefore, why not try (again) the Writer's and Artists' Yearbook (in your local library) or else just send a COPY (not the original MS!) to the BBC for Radio 4.
I am so sorry not to be more helpful and I look forward to reading other people's answers.
You can also publish privately (and for free) on lulu (Google it). I have two stories on there.

You are better off sending it to one of the weekly magazines, like Bella etc. They are always looking for new stories and writers.
My aunt has had several printed.
