Yes. He should continue as Coach because of the following reasons :
(1) Unlike John Wright, He is a TOUGH M-F-uck-ing Coach & the only person who can dare to kick our Super Star Super Ego Players in the ***. Our players do well for 1 - 2 seasons, then they get more interested in doing Ads etc.
Pls read John Wrights book on Indian Cricket called "Indian Summers" ..... John admits that he was unable to control the senior players as no one in India (from coach to selectors) had the guts to touch them - no matter how badly they were playing.
(2) I know his decision to throw out Ganguly looks bad now, but dont judge his decision as on date , pls view the decision as on the date (i.e. 18 months ago) when Ganguly was thrown out. At that time Ganguly was playing pathetic & was more interested in doing Ads & talking nonsense to the Press, instead of practising harder on his batting.
(3) Look at Zaheer, after being dropped he has become a much better bowler now & has also worked hard at his batting & is now a better player overall. If Zaheer had not been dropped he would have never improved.
(4) Now see Irfan, Munaf, Shewag ..... all super stars have been kicked out of the team for non-performance ...... I am 100% sure that when they return to the team, they will come back as better players.
(5) The sad FACT is that we Indians treat our cricketeres greater than Gods ..... Hence they have super-egos & believe that no one can touch them ......... Our cricketers need someone like Chappel ..... so that our cricketers realise that they are NOT GODS and have to work hard like everyone else to succeed.

Its very very clear that Greg Chappel has failed as a coach of the Indian Team and I feel now we have to try an Indian Coach like Kapil Dev with Ganguly as Assistant

I'm not getting even a single reason as to why Chappel is still the coach of INDIAN cricket team.Hav we lost our sanity to hav him as our coach.He has got more no. of controversis than no.of wins.He is here only to get the fat salary frm BCCI & nothin else.In my opinion he should be sued as soon as posible if we really mean to win the world cup

i think we should see till the world cup finishes because he was with the team for somtimes and suddenly if another coach comes has some different tack ticks that will effect the players.

yes, he can, it is the players who has to work out to win a match, whether it is chappel (fish), or kukkal (dogs) nothing to do with it, our players has to work hard to just win a match

yeah he has to continue till the worls cup and if he cant take india to the finel then he has to quit from the position
