I have no time or patience to ask others about the money found.
I usually keep it, and wait for someone to ask if I found it.

I don't have that problem because it's just me and my son in the house. But, under any other circumstances, if it's INSIDE the washer or dryer, I would keep it. If I found it inside someones pocket while doing their laundry, I wouldn't keep it.

I do the wash so I get to keep it. Unless it's a lot of money then I wonder who's holding out on me!!! lol

Depends on how much I find. If it's a large amount, I find out who it belongs to. If it's change, I consider it a tip ... for doing their laundry ... the lazy buggers. :)

keep it, gawd knows how much I've lost to my daughter and my wife, cuz I know neither one'll give me my money back.
only caveat is if its the 3 year olds (like b-day, grandparent money) then I have enough guilt for the little woookie

Keep it, I consider it a tax on those who are too lazy to check their pockets.

I make it known to everyone by announcing but not disclosing the amount.
