For a more vivid description could you love a guy/girl with a hammer that beat your face in until you were on the brink of death? Yes Would I? No.....Why would anyone love anyone else that would mean you harm? He/She loves you? HAHAHAHHAHAHA....It's funny how love takes over the only thing that makes us different from animals...our minds

sounds like a bad country song, depends on how they broke your heart, did he move away or sleep with your sister, it all depends on the situation

Not me. My hate can run deep and long. Eventually it gets to the point of their nonexistence in my mind. By then I feel nothing for them good or bad. Like they were never even there.

i still remember that as**hole . to be frank whenever i think of him i remember the good moments together but then while remembering the good moments i end up thinking about how he cheated me ...and i always end up cursing him!
they say to forgive is devine....but again to bear cheaters is a mental abuse ! and i am the boss i can never let somebody cheat me ! not again ... i cant forget !

Sometimes there is still attachment when that happens, but it usually takes time to shake it off.

If they do it once, there is every chance they will do it again. Move on first, forgive and forget later!

We can choose to forgive or not. We have to understand our motives. Are you afraid to be alone?
