I don't know which is the best pet store in Houston, much less one with the best beta fish. Beta fish are mostly sold anywhere that fish are sold, and they even sell them at walmart! I guess my answer sounds dumb, but when you first posted the question I just thought you meant regular beta, not exotic ones.

i am not in houston but you can buy bettas online on ebay or aquabid.com. the shiipping is VERY expensive. there are some breeders with stores online too. I have lucked into some pretty decent bettas at petco -- i have a pineapple crowntail, a chinese red half moon and a melano half moon all from petco. you just have to check in when you drive by.
