He's not the best kicker of all time.......but he is the greatest CLUTCH kicker of all-time without a doubt.

After reading some of the responses there seems to be a trend. Everyone agrees he is the greatest clutch kicker in football but not the greatest of all time. At least not yet. Well I for one watched him kick his entire career with the Pats. And I only care about one thing. Getting the job done with the game on the line. And no one does it better than Vinatieri. So yes he is the greatest, the rest of the stats are fluff.

Shane Lechler has had the most expensive kicks I have ever seen. Adam Vinatieri has been the most draw close I ever suggested. i'm to youthful to have seen Lou Groza and a number of the former college kickers. Of the fashionable Kickers i might want to say those are my right 2 for draw close and organic kicking ability.

YES. he is the best clutch kicker in the history of the nfl. he can kick a 55 yarder which means he has a great leg to go with his accuracy. he won countless games with his legs including superbowl 34 against the rams. he is the best kicker in the nfl and all of the nfl and every kicker to have ever kicked the ball

I believe it was Jan Stenerud, the first kicker in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio.Although the Chiefs lost Super Bowls I and II to Vince Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers, they won Super Bowl IV against the Minnesota Vikings 23-7, and he scored 3 field goals, or 9 points.

He is indeed the greatest NFL kicker of all time. His stats show it. No one even comes close. See his Wiki and see what he has done, especially when under pressure. Calling Adam a 'Clutch" kicker is like calling Warren Buffet a mill owner.

not the best kicker....but without a doubt, the greatest clutch kicker in the history of the nfl...that alone should get him into the hall of fame.

I dunno. But I don't think Adam cares! Adam Vinatieri is a clutch kicker without a doubt! But even he will not say he is the best ever! And that makes him even better!

He is not the best kicker of all times...however he is the best clutch kicker. He rarely misses under pressure.
