If the battle for outer space was open for grabs and only Star wars and their ships and Star Trek and their ships were available to fight each other, who would win? If the computer told you the winner, would you agree and try to change the outcome?

I say star trek. seemed to me that star wars only had lightspeed right? and star trek had warp. it's like a war between a model T ford and a dodge viper. star trek would just have to go in and out, in and out, run away, surprise attack, photon this, photon that.

wow, this question receives requested many times. yet because the celeb Trek series (all 5) have a blended airing of 29 seasons, plus a minimum of 10 video clips, and celeb Wars as 6 video clips and a caricature series or 2, the celeb Trek universe is a lot extra distinct and exciting. also, celeb Trek doesn't position self assurance especially consequences just about as heavy as celeb Wars does, so what does that allow you recognize about plot?

I hate to burst your bubble, but star trek and star wars aren't real...
Although it would be hard for a computer to accurately simulate it, because the old adage holds for this as well; it's not how big it is, it's how you use it.
The emphasis in Star Trek is mainly on the brilliant crew, whereas in Star Wars it's mainly people with other skills, so the Star Trek people would probably outmanuvere the Star Wars people.

tough to say we dont know the power/effiency of the weapons or shields that each side has. also there is probably no conversion chart for comparing units of power between the two
p.s. i STRONGLY dissagree with tgypoi.....have you seen any of the movies??? star wars ships are much more manuverable because of the variety of classes available to the empire i.e. fighters
