Your dating someone for awhile, when do you take them to meet your family? Ladies how long will you wait and how long is too long for your to wait?

I guess whenever things get serious. Me, I would not let anyone come near my messed up family unless I was getting married. I have know some people to wait a week or so. I say wait until you get to know each other and when it gets serious. Why get family members involved if its not going anywhere. They may like him and start pressuring you guys to get married, or if they hate him they will try to break you up.

If you date for more than a month, it is time to, at the minimum, mention the new person in your life to them. If after 30 days it appears to be heading in a good direction, invite the person to a family meal/gathering! Dating someone & interacting with your family should be a "normal" thing. If your family is part of your life "before" the relationship, why would that change? Just include the new person in your life & don't make it out to be a big event.

I usually wait a few years till my parents come to visit me again. But my family lives all over the world.

that isn't any longer a matter of ways lengthy have you ever been relationship. Meet them on each occasion both facet are waiting. I.e. once you want to fulfill them or maybe as they want to fulfill you. i do not imagine that is race concern in any respect. My brother is interior an same situation with my mothers and fathers - my mom isn't waiting to fulfill his new gf of 6 months, they are an same race.

I would let them meet my family right away...Because I want my family to know the person I'm dealing with in case something happen to you.

You can take them any time. Your Family might be the best place to visit with your man of interest and get to know each other better.

Well when my boyfriend met my mom,it was by accident. He walked me home and she just came out..but I think you wait until you guys are really comfortable with each other.

my time varies by different men... i let him meet them when i feel confident he isnt a comlete a** and that he wont make a fool of himself... i dated a guy for almost 6 months and he never met them simply because he wasnt yet ready.... it will also be helpful if hes ready...
