Yesterday, I recieved a thick period. It was bright red and very heavy. It is still very heavy and my back hurts.

I'm in my first trimester - I don't think implantation bleeding is supposed to be thick...

Does this sound like symptoms of a miscarriage? All of my dizziness, stomach aches, chills, etc STOPPED about two days ago.

If I were you I would go to the ER. Not to scare you but I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks and it sounds like what i went through. Heavy bleeding, cramping, and I just didnt feel pregnant anymore. I would go to a doctor now to make sure you are okay. Good luck

You really need to go to the doctor. I dont think loosing your simptoms alway mean miscarriage , cause i lost none of mine till almost a week after i miscarriaged.

It does sound like a high chance but their are other things it can be. Try and stay positive and go to the hospital if your doctors is closed, their will be someone their that can help.

Call the OBGYN or get to the ER. I got the same thing at 18wks and luckily i carried my son but I ended up on bedrest until he was born at 36wks but they told me if you have bleeding enough to fill a pad then you really need to be seen. If you are under 22 wks they will most likely see you in the ER for a check and see what might be happening.

I don't want to scare you either, but it could definitely be a miscarriage. I would definitely go to the hospital right away and be checked out. I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy but was only about 6 weeks or so along.

You need to call a doctor NOW. Bright red blood is fresh, and this definitely indicates something is wrong.

See your doctor ASAP. During pregnancy when there is bleeding, even how scant it is, a woman should immediately seek medical attention. Bleeding during pregnancy simply means that there is something wrong.
