Ocean's Deadliest will air Sunday, January 21st in the U.S. and there will also be a Steve Irwin Tribute just after. Is it the same in Oz?

All Steve Irwin shows were via Discovery channel so all American produced-like the ones this weekend.

I imagine Ocean's Deadliest is before that. Normally Aussie produced series get first airing rights there before anywhere else in the world. Much like US productions which air in North America before other places. It is a money/rights thing that is predetermined before the creation of the show - contractually with a network who funds the program.
