I think the audio file i downloaded was corrupted and it messed up my audio, my windows media, and everything dealing with my audio. Ive checked the usuals that may have caused it but it keeps reverting me back to those certain files i downloaded.

I went to my control panel to adjust the volume and it said i have no audio devices. I believe the audio file i downloaded was corrupted. What do i do. please help.

can u be more specific....if the downloaded audio alone doesnt play then the file mite not have been downloaded properly....if there is a problem with the system after the file has been downloaded then the file mite be a virus or such kinda thing....scan that file for any virus using an antivirus.....or else check whether there is any problem with ur sound hardware...check ur speakers and the sound card etc...check whether u have installed the audio driver for ur sound card....

Double click on the volume icon down by your clock.
Check to make sure the slider bar isn't all the way down on the WAV/MP3 slider. If it IS, slide it up and that should take care of your problem.
Make sure that your play control slider is at least a bit up from the bottom as well.
