Muriatic acid will take it off instantly. But beware, the fumes are not something you want to breath. Muriatic acid is used to clean swimming pools.
If you don't want to use that, then a pumice stone works really well.

I would try scrubbing with Comet Cleanser the powder not the liquid. If this does not work try some CLR it works pretty good also. I would leave both in the toilet for about 10 minutes if possible, and scrub with a toilet brush. Try one product at a time. Good Luck.

A pumice stone is available at your local grocery store in the cleaning products aisle. It will remove the scale from your porcelain fixtures without harming the finish. It won't kill you with nasty fumes and is a whole lot cheaper than any cleaning product out there.

If you have a porcelain toilet you can use CLR(Calcium, lime and rust remover,or Lime Away or the Works (Disinfectant Toilet Bowl Cleaner)...all of which you can find at Wal-mart. They're all very good but don't get any of them on your skin. They don't have to sit too long and require very little scrubbing.

I keep in mind my mom had an indication that reported "in case you spatter once you tinkle, be a sweetie and wipe the seat-ie" If that's not your type, shop a container of Lysol wipes reachable for him to seize (on the lower back of the lavatory) and little container of cheerios beside it. while he asks what they're for, tell him for aiming prepare and the wipes are for in case he misses. If he's going to make a large number like a 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous, you could cope with him like one.

CLR. If not, stop by a plumbing place and ask nicely. Most people are pretty helpful if approached properly. You may end up needing a new toilet if it has been let go for too long. No worries though, they are not that expensive. Good luck.

Try white vinegar. Do it a a time you can leave it set without flushing the toilet for at least 12 hours if you can.

A pumice stone cleans and is cheap. You can find it at Wal-mart or a hardware store.
