I got an Ipod, and I had like 183(25 bought from itunes, and the rest from CD's) on my 1st PC's itunes, on it and then I wanted to get new songs downloaded from another PC, and I had already downloaded about 60 songs or so from that PC's itunes, so I tried to get it on my ipod from the 2nd PC, and it said something about "Erase and Sync" and it said that it would erase songs from the 1st library and Sync it with the 2nd library... and I told it to erase and sync, then it downloaded like normal, and then I look at my ipod and it said I had 83 songs and the songs were the ones I have bought from Itunes, and the ones I downloaded from teh 2nd PC...

my question is what did I do wrong, like shouldn't I do next time, and is there any way of getting them back on without downloaded them a second time???

Try manual syncing next time. Since you chose erase and sync on the 2nd computer, it erased everything you had and added all the songs from the 2nd computer. If you manually manage the songs, you get to choose which songs get transferred. Just tick on the manual sync option on iTunes. If you still have the old songs in your computer, you can manually sync the songs so you'll retain the new songs in your iPod.

You didn't do anything wrong, per se. However, whenever you sync an iPod to a different computer, any tracks that were not purchased from iTunes or duplicated on the second computer will be wiped from the iPod. There's no reason why you can't get them back. Just hook the iPod up to the first computer with iTunes 7 installed, and, when prompted, tell it to download the second batch of iTunes songs to the first computer, and let it resync the ripped tracks back onto the iPod. Alternately, if you no longer have the first computer, rerip all of the CDs to the second computer, and have iTunes 7 capture the first batch of iTunes songs to that computer.

I am confused on exactly what you are asking. If you want to have songs from both PCs on your ONE iPod you need to turn off syncing and select manual and that way it will let you drag and drop songs from both PCs, make sure you never tell it to sync.
