Birth Control was invented late 60's, and mass distributed in 70's. Condoms pushed in 80's with STD's like AID's.

Abortion legalized late 1960's (Roe vs. Wade).

Industry Pollution changed fertility.

Few countries implemented "Population Control" allowing only one kid per couple.

Television/ Movies/ Celebrities promoted delaying childbirth for careers.

Only in the developed world. Look at developing nations, the population growth there is on the rise and immigrants are heavy contributors to pop growth in the US and Europe.
