All of these are ones that I personally use and all are free.After you install any of them,make sure you update them to get the full affect.

Avast Antivirus + Zone Alarm Firewall.
Both are free for personal use and work great. Even if they say they are not 100% compatible with one another, I never had any problem whatsoever.
