No, the Sidekick II and 3 is a GSM phone, while MetroPCS using CDMA technology. These are completely different technologies and are not cross functional.

The RAZR and KRZR are manufactured by Moto who build both GSM and CDMA phones, but there are model differences and one from GSM cannot work on the CDMA system. You have to look deeper into the model number to make sure you have the right one. One key difference is that GSM phones use a SIM card which sits under the battery while CDMA phones do not.

Sorry, in the US, the main carrier that uses the Sidekick is T-Mobile.

Mine has been out considering a pair of million or so, i'm in Hayward. Metro provider is terrible and that i'm switching to spice up, you may get a intense high quality telephone for purely $one hundred and the provider is greater low-priced than Metro. My husband switched a pair months in the past to spice up and is amazingly chuffed. The boost provider is via sprint and he has no dropped calls. i've got faith right now that Metro inventory took a nostril dive. i ponder whether it has something to do with this. The least Metro ought to do is placed something up on their website. terrible client help!!!!!
