Women who are pregnant during flu season typically get a flu shot and it does no harm to the baby but since you're past that point all you can do is rest and drink plenty of fluids. Any prescribed or over the counter medication pose a risk to your developing fetus. Please keep in mind that influenza in pregnancy increases the risk of complications such as pneumonia because pregnancy alters the immune system particularly the heart and lungs.

Good nutrition is key, as well as getting alot of fluids. You really should stay away from medicines, clinical or holistic. You might want to try boosting your vitamin intake with a product like airborne. They help me when I'm sick and shouldn't be a problem for a pregant woman.

Oh, I was there with you a year ago and my DR told me plenty of fluids and rest...that was it. It was over quickly for me though. However when I got a chest cold he did allow me Nyquil for 2 nights, I took 1/2 doses and still felt bad about it. My baby was very healthy and still is! Sometimes we want the medicine then we fell bad for taking it... Good Luck.

You are wise in not taking any medicine. Drink lots of fruit juice, especially citrus like orange juice. Eat chicken noodle soup, sleep a lot and get plenty of rest. Good luck.

Try taking some vitamin C pills, it will help your immunity to flu. If you do not want to take pills try drinking lots of 100% pure orange juice.

time, good nutrition and lots of rest are about the only thing you can do right now. There isn't really any medicine that will 'cure' the flu, only things that will mask the symptoms. let your body heal itself.
