I remember a boy, Evan, from high school who boasted about making people look stupid without them knowing. I remember Andrew, who took my synthesizer from me under the pretence of borrowing it. I remember when Charles took money from me in exchange for a bag of lawn mulch, saying it was marijuana. My therapist made fun of my interest in Dungeons & Dragons and in the name of my girlfriend, whose name was Destiny. She herself said that I am passive-aggressive and gave me a photograph of us kissing, having written on the back of it, "You see how you are at it?" I think my boss at the tax office called me a "huh kid." My mom said that I am a "little too smart." Both my parents said that I do nothing. My dad told me that I'm out of my mind. When I was in the ninth grade, my mom said that my English teacher said that I was fishing for compliments. A bill collector once told me on the phone that he didn't care about my life. He said I am a laughingstock. Finally I paid up.

You just have to ignore those kinds of people. Most of them are just the "filler" of the human race. They serve no more purpose other than to test the willpower of those of us who intend to have an impact on others. Also, don't let the expectations of others dictate how you act, live your life for who you, not anyone else. Embrace your passions and just chuck aside the comments of others. Also, if you're therapist is making fun of you its clearly time to get a new one. And don't give up on your interests, especially DnD.

Well, judging by that little rant, I think maybe a few more sessions with the therapist might be a good idea.

Your therapist was unprofessional and you need to stop keeping track of every slight you've ever received.

Find a new and competent therapist who will help you build your self-esteem.

Well, you see things as they are. So you can resign yourself to the facts and just get on with life. You're alone. So am I. That's reality.

Yeah, and they'll always be around if you dwell in the past.
