Why are the countries of the world such INDIA, INDONESIA, MALAYSIA,etc have -SIA ending in them?

Does the -IA stand for soneting like Intellgence Agency or Industrial Area?

well the SIA/IA doesnt necessarily stand for anything... might be just to make the name sound similar to ASIA, the continent they are part of.. Russia, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea... but really there no such logic..

They are all in Asia: so, the happy ending "sia", to conform to the common linkage! (words 'gymnesia'!)
