Gradually would probably work best..just do it a little at a time.

I know of that "Sleepytime tea" The guy above mentioned...My 75 year old momma takes that sometimes. (She seems to like it)

Also....When you do want to go to sleep..try to make the room as dark as possible.

The only other idea I know of is to force yourself to stay awake until the time you want to sleep..do this for awhile (maybe a week at worse) and you should be back to normal.

(I used to drive an 18 wheeler..so I am familiar with screwed up sleep schedules)

Nitey Night!!!

I was once on a shift work. I need to work from 7pm to 7am on some weeks and 7am to 7 pm on others.

I used melantonin to switch over during my off days. Melantonin is not additive and can be safely bought off the shelf. Some books even say that melantonin is youth drug because if we take it after age 45, it help us to sleep well. Sleep repair our body and retard the aging process.

exhaust yourself by exercising, like jogging or jumping jacks and make yourself tired before bedtime. But not too soon before, then you will be too jacked up to sleep. Try some sleepy time tea. They do have non-narcotic sleep aides you could take om a temp basis, therefore you shouldn't become dependent-so they have said.
Ever since discovered YA, I have been going to bed as late as 3:00 am! I usually savor bedtime and am asleep by 10:00, now, well here it is 10:30 pm and I am here!

Gradually try to transition your times to match what you want them to be. There's a tea called "Sleepytime Tea" that works really well to calm you and help you go to sleep. It's all natural using Chamomile, so it's safe and won't cause you to be a bubble head in the AM. Good luck!
