It's not a question of you forgiving. But if she can forgive herself??before she can truly get emotionally involved with someone she has to get her self straight thru professional help. I say its not good for someone who has been mentoring someone thru something so serious to start a relationship with that person because the feeling they have are more then likely magnified by the support and attention you've given them. Not to mention the long term effects that this could have on her. you may be bitting more off then you can chew be cautious of your own well being when dealing with someone like this:) !!!

Are you in love with this person? To answer your question - there's nothing to forgive. We are not to judge. I once was driven through a 'red light" district and what I saw broke my heart. Young girls, looking pale and tired, runover shoes. They had no place to go. Prob. many of them were abused children. It's not forgiveness they need, it's compassion. If you love this person continue to help her. But don't give her false hope if you don't love her. Forgive her? Will she forgive society for letting her fall through the cracks? Give her kindness and understanding.

Forgive her for what? Was she selling herself while dating you? If not, she has not done anything wrong to you. Maybe you feel strange that she has had so many sexual partners and if so, that is your issue but you better solve it quickly before either one of you gets hurt. Also on a health thought, both of you should be tested for STD's and aids so that you can make good decesions and take precautions..

When we do something bad in life (which we all do at times) how would you feel if, no one wanted to have anything to do with you because of what you did? And how would you feel if someone came up to you and assured you forgiveness? Two different feelings for sure. I reckon it feels great when people forgive, if they don't the poor girl's situation would certainly get worse for her and she would lead a very unhappy life. Jesus forgave and if you do, I'm sure it will make you feel great.

Not all prostitutes come from troubled childhoods or are drug addicts. Some make a business decision and treat it just as a business and nothing more. You will find that most people who visit prostitutes are business people, married or unmarried.

I hope you can work things out with your lady, don't be harsh on her because of her past as we all have one don't we?

I don't see why not. Sometimes life kicks people hard in the face. Not everyone gets up from it. They do whatever they can to survive.

Not everyone has a clean past. If she has earned your trust. Why not forgive?

Are you able to look at her as a respectable woman??? That is the question that you should be asking yourself.... If you can do that then you can do almost anything... Has she changed her life for the better or is she just saying it and not showing it??? If so and if you love her too then you should let her past be just that.... HER PAST!!!

Yes, absolutely. What makes you better than her? You are not. There is nothing to forgive.

She went through something terrible. She is making a tremendous effort to put it behind her when it would be much easier to keep the status quo. You are lucky to have someone who is trying that hard. Put in the effort to heal her.

If you love them yes (eg: Pretty Women)
If you just feel sorry for them leave it alone. A pitty relationship can't last that long.
Besides their is no telling how many people someone has been with for free!

Forgiveness is for everyone so that they learn their mistake and make sure they dun repeat themselves again. So I suppose she is entitled to forgiveness.
