Oh my goodness, i am so sick of this stupid phone!!!!

It's really cute [[i have the hot pink one]]

but i've had it only since may, and this would be my second phone.
And the third time it's broken.

=(

So heres my question....

Does anyone know why one minute my phone will work fine, i texted on it and everything was good. And then i go to check my phone twenty minutes later, and the screen doesn't work.

The keys are lit up blue [[like normal]] but the screen is completely black.

Also the mini screen on the front still says the time, but it won't light up either...

what could be the problem? do i need a new phone? battery? what..

PLEASE HELPP!!!

It's probably defective. I am on my 3rd Razr V3 from Sprint. I got my first one mid November as I signed a new 2yr. contract. It is now mid Jan. and I am on my 3rd phone. This phone sucks!

This is a known manufacture problem with a component in the phone that made the phone think that it was closed when it is open.

This should have been recalled and there was much publicity on this recall. You got a lemon.

I would contact the carrier and let them know that this is from the batch of RAZR phones that was recalled. I copied a link of the story if they have forgotten it. They should be able to track the phone based on the IMEI number on the phone to the batch that was bad.

Best of luck and hope you get a good one next time.

The problem with the razr is that it's thin and cheaply designed. The LCD back light is very 3rd class as far as parts go. The phone itself is very flimsy which is bad for these sorts of things. The connector inside the phone generally comes apart, wires break, the back light breaks and comes dislodged. In general this phone was designed to be 'cool' and not efficient. My advice to you would be to take it back and get a completely different phone. This one was not made for normal wear and tear bumping.

I got one for the "coolness" factor and have regretted the decision ever since. My Sony Ericsson phone's battery lasted longer as well as the "no name" Bluetooth over the Motorola ones

damn i hate the razr too. i never had the screen go out on me tho. but when my phone is on the fizzle i remove the battery for 5 seconds and put it back on. sometimes it fixes my problems. good luck..
