Yes I still say please and thank you all the time. My parents raised me with manners when I was little and I raised my kids with manners. One day when I pulled up at a drive thru I said thank you to a teen ager and my oldest said "momma why did you say thank you to him" I told her "because you will get father in life with manners then you will without manners." That is the way I was raised and to this day both of my kids are 17 and 18 and they say thank you and please. It is not to much work.

Way too much. That was the best thing my mother ever taught me. I get away with more than I should because of it too.
