Talk to your OBGYN and make sure you don't have any restrictions. I was told no situps or crunchs. Of course others have been told different so I would deffinitly talk to your OBGYN about it as they will no what limits are right specifically for you based on the pregnancy and how your body is doing and the baby. I know there are a lot of workouts though that can be done safely while pregnant. Yoga is one of them and wonderful for pregnant woman and i was amazed how inshape it keeps woman too.

There is no particular way to tone your stomach when you are pregnant especially at your stage in pregnancy. You'll experience the largest growth in your abdomen from here on out. You also should not attempt to do anything high-impact or something drastic that you did not do before you became pregnant. Your body could not handle it.
The safest thing is walking, stretching water aerobics and yoga. No high-impact aerobics, weight lifting or anything that would put stress on your joints.

Don't lift anything over 25 pounds, and take it easy. If your body is not used to working out, you could be putting your body through some stress that won't be good for you or your baby.
The best exercise for pregnant women is swimming, walking, light jogging, and yoga.
If you notice any of these symptoms after exercise, call your doctor immediately:
-severe cramps
-hardenning of the stomach that comes in waves and doesn't go away
-bleeding or fluid leaking from the vagina
-severe headache
-visual disturbances
-severe swelling in hands and face
-chest pain

I was only 120 lbs before pregnancy and I had only gained about 7 by month 5. I really started gaining at month 7. I now at 33 weeks only weight 148. I eat helathy and don't overeat. The doc says i'm doing wonderful. The baby doesn't really start gaining her fat until around 7 months and will continue till birth. It sounds normal to me. I wouldn't worry unless your doc says something about it. He must feel like the baby is moving along wonderfully!

Starting this late in the pregnancy might not be a good idea. If you were actively doing this during your pregnancy it is ok but be careful now. Talk to your Doctor before starting any routines. Walking is still the best exercise as long as you don't overdo it.

I would take a prenatal exercise class. They will let you know the limits on how far you can take certain exercises.
