My period is also really light and its almost as if its towards the last day of it. I have cramps and I'm sore. Can I still get pregnant even if i have sex the day before my period?

It could still be possible that you can be pregnant but not necessarily because of the sex you had the day before your period. Many women have had one more menstrual discharge before they found out they were pregnant. Mensturation is a means of cleansing the uterus in preparation for the next ovulation cycle. This cleansing is also applicable for pregnancy as the uterus is being cleansed to make sure that it's bacteria free for the growing baby. Going back to your question, yes you can still get pregnant because ovulation cycles of women don't fall in the old-school standard "counting" days. Best to get a pregnancy test.

It depends on your cycle. Every woman ovulates at a different time of the month, but there's only a few days that you can get pregnant.
The best way to find out is to take a pregnancy test. Wait until your next period is due, and if it's late, take the test. If it's negative, wait another week, and if your period still hasn't started, take another test. If it's still negative, and your period doesn't start in another week, I would see your doctor.

Anytime there is unprotected sex there is a chance for pregnancy since every woman ovulates at different times. You will just have to wait about 2 weeks and take a test.
