It is all propaganda, I am British and I have many Irani friends, I have also been to Iran. What you should try to understand is that Bush is a Fundamental Christian - to him and other people like him who are in power in America, the Land from the Israeli shore to the Euphrates and beyond is all Israel. As Saddam said - ''This will be the mother of all wars'' I only hope that we can find peace and respect and love as quickly as possible, InShahAllah

Glad you are happy in Iran but what do you think your Country,s reaction should be to an attack by Israel aided by the US vis a vis creating a "passage " through Iraq to allow Israeli fighter planes (flown by terrorists) to get back safely after having carried out their war crimes. And all of this being done by a state that refuses to allow the UN inspect or even admit they have "WMD,S" not withstanding Ohlmert,s silly blunder recently . By the way I am not from the Middle East and the usual accusations of "Anti Semite" dont bother me one little bit, but I do welcome intelligent and constructive discourse.

Well, I never believe all of what my government says about Iran nor do I believe all of what I read in the media about Iran. That being said, I think President Amidinijad is a very dangeroous man. We know Bush is a very dangerous man, but then Bush hasn't threatened the incineration of major countries.
Actually, my gut impression is that the two men are really more alike than different, except for the fact that your president is probably far more intelligent and educated than our president. They both seem to have millenial/messianic beliefs which get in the way of their rational thought. They're both short little men with Napoleanic complexes and they both are running amok with little concern for the international community.
Ours has had more opportunity to wreak havok than has yours, but I am of the firm belief that your leader would, if given the opportunity, render large parts of our world crispier than over cooked shwarma meat.
I believe the Persian/Iranian people to be largely rational and well-educated, but you've allowed the Imams and irrational religious types to hijack your greatness and future in the name of their view of what the prophet preached. We Americans of the U.S. persuasions have allowed something similiar to occur with the Bush administration, but given our govermental structures and checks and balances - we are one election away from regaining our political sanity (to a degree).
I hope that your insane president and our insane president end up footnotes in the dustbin of history and that our two nations peacefully work through their differences and eventually form a lasting national friendship.
Salaam/Sholom/Peace be unto you.

Well, I don't know who to believe, our media, or yours. I think they all lie and distort the truth to sell their papers/ etc.
If you are truly happy w/ your government under your president, who seems kind of off his rocker to me, then so be it. Iran doesn't bother me at this time, just so long as President Ahmadinejad doesn't decide to incinerate me w/ nuclear weapons... (at that point I have the reassurance that ten thermonuclear weapons are on the way back at him... ah retaliation...(oh, and sorry you are in the crossfire too)).

Sorry dude, I don't believe you are Iranian. I have a family member who is an actual Iranian. He was there in October to visit his family still living there. What you say is not true. Most Iranians do not like nor trust their government. Many of them would like for the free world to help them oust the current leaders. Also there is the fact that the President is an anti Semite that wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

As an American citizen I have no qualms with Iranian people. I respect their culture and their accomplishments.
It is my hope that our nations can put aside our differences, and come to an agreement for long term peace and prosperity.

Salam my dear Iranian Brother!
I am grateful that you are quite satisfied with situation in your country, what ever you hear bad about your government, that is Just propaganda of America and Israel for destabilizing your country, they are never willing to see an Islamic country progressing.
There are interested to so see a government in Iran just like Saudi Arabia that what ever is happening with the Muslims around the world, they are just silent about it.
It was Americans and Europeans who were chanting that we liberated Afghanistan, what is going on here after our liberation, every day poor Afghans are dieing, government institutions of sat on fire, the economy is smashed, most important for Afghans the religion is slowly lost, Afghan culture is destroyed.
Iraq
The first thing is that you recently heard American government announced that over 34,000 Iraqi civilians have died in 2006 which is not true, the number should be at least 80,000 people as only in a single day 105 people died only in Baghdad (on January 16 2007).
Oil of Iraq is now in the hand of Americans and a puppet government is installed there, some 500,000 people were killed by their sanctions in the 90s and they killed hundreds of thousands of Iranian and Iraqis with the support they give to saddam attack on Iran and another some 500,000 people of lost their lives since the invasion of Iraq by Bush, Blair and their allies.
What the Americans did with Lebanon and Palestinians, over a thousand Lebanese were killed by Israelis cluster bombs and the only thing that UN and America could do was to condemn Hezbullah.
Cabinet misters of Palestine is in the jails of Israel and American and there European allies are taking about creation of sovereignty state for Palestinians.
And many, many more others…………..

Based on comments by your leader, he seems to want to instigate problems for the Iranian people, I hope he will comply with international laws and request, and maybe that premise of ill thoughts of Iran, by Americans may dissolve. It takes two to fight, plain and simple! The instigator and the responder!
