Which isn't to say all creationists fall into this category, but the ones who rant here seem to. They don't understand the science; they further don't seem to understand the religion either. The "conflict" between religion and evolution is a false one that came about for a variety of socio-political reasons. I know some southern baptist preachers who believe in evolution, and likewise most evolutionary biologists I've met are Christians who attend church regularly. There IS NO CONFLICT. Evolution doesn't reject God anymore than the theory of gravity rejects Him as opposed to having people believe that God personally keeps us all from falling off the planet. Rather, all science, including evolution, illuminates the mechanism by which God chose to effect creation, and makes the creation that much more amazing in the process. Anyone who tells you Christianity and evolution have to be opposed to each other is a complete nutjob.

Some ancient people believed when the wind blew, God was in the sky blowing it with his mouth. To be Christians do we have to believe that this is what God does, or can we believe that God created the universe complete with the laws of physics and atmospherics so that we get wind; when I turn on my radio and it works do I have to believe that God is personally shuttling the little electrons around, or can I believe that God created the universe in such a way that the laws of electronics are in place and my radio works; it's the same with evolution. God creates the universe and all of its laws intact and with such remarkable genius that it develops, by his created laws, into what we have today. Evolution is a partial window into how He did it.

In part because some scientists insist that science and religion are absolutely incompatible. They're called "New Atheists" and Richard Dawkins is a prime example.

Of course the New Atheists are very damaging to science. Force people to choose and many of them will choose religion.

I strongly agree with you that religion and science are very compatible. But blame for the unnecessary fight between them lies with extremists on both sides.

Probably because of their insufficent knowladge of science and partly because of ignorance. Some christians do not bother to even take a glimpse at science so they only see or hear what Evolutionist see. Theres more to science then just Evolution( which I belive is partly wrong, Macro Evolution to be exact) but some people choose to not even look or see. I can partly see where Chirstianity and Evolution can intermingle but there comes to a point where Christian belief is completly different from Evolution( Like a Fish does not turn into an Elephant over a few hundred billion years).

Oh also the part about why are these loons attracted to this site; I have to say why are Evolutionist Loons attracted to this site. Its just a point of view, its just an opinion.

oh if anyone chooses to bash me. keep this clear. I am a christian and I know where to draw the lines.

who or what is a loon is in the eye of the beholder
as far as creation is concerned here is an alternative view

the Anunaki created man as a slave race to mine their gold and then made out as if he was a god ,so that his descendents could maintain control of the humanity that followed
the neanderthal, cromagnum, homo erectus ,all lived at the same time in the same place near the oldest known gold mines in the world ,and there was not millions of years between them as evolution would suggest.

they were genetic experiments of the Anunaki ,and homo sapian was the final result .the reptilian brain in our heads is a souvenir of their genetics.

and the religious control that the illuminati has maintained up to the present is the biggest fraud known to mankind,so that they could keep on brainwashing the public and manipulate them
the Anunaki were the Gods(plural )mentioned in genesis who were the fathers of the Nephilim

you may be one of their victems
and unknowingly have been folowing a false God ,and betrayed Gaia ,and Isis, turning your back on the real local gods ,with out whom ,nobody and nothing could exist ,in favour of a dishonest and deceiving extraterestrial,

remember that all nuts fall ,and if they dont reproduce they get eaten by something bigger

a million. the thought of evolution -- all life on the planet originated from one ancestral cellular and different from that by way of a chain of minute adjustments from one era to the subsequent accrued over the billions of years of life on the planet. 2. The mechanisms in the back of the thought of evolution are the frantic and desperate tries of a few human beings to appeal to close at some straw which will provide them the phantasm of help -- besides the undeniable fact that flimsy -- for his or her opt to not have self belief in God or hear to every person who has the authority to tell them that they are able to't do what they like. in case you meant the mechanisms in the back of evolution, you ought to have stated so, yet i will answer that, too. 3. The mechanisms employing evolution have been unknown and disregarded for some years. finally Gregor Mendel (shown later by using the invention of DNA) found out that adjustments are actually not and might't be minute. each exchange in chromosome count huge sort creates a sparkling species. there is not any gradualness to the approach. it is digital, not analog. besides the undeniable fact that, the main substantially referred to element employing evolution is declared to be organic selection. Stuff and nonsense. till there is a few incorrect thank you to bypass features directly to offspring, the employing rigidity is genetic harm and blunders in transcription. the different nucleolar or replication methods purely mixture up the triumphing genes, hence increasing version. Nature would not exist as a concrete element. it is an concept. regardless of "Ian Malcolm's" infamous pronouncements in "Jurassic Park," Nature would not do something, much less decide on for the fittest to stay to tell the tale. in actuality, $#!+ happens, and often it fairly is survival of the luckiest. the main that organic selection could be waiting to end could be to furnish slightly a handicap, so which you ought to communicate, to the species that are much less handicapped in regard to their environments.
