An emo is a person that h8s life. Screamo is sorta like d3ath metal, which is a genre of music. Funny thing is, not a lot of the d3ath metal bands are emo.

Wow! That last answer was terrible! The main, and pretty much only difference is emo doesn't have screaming.

screamo is screaming where you generally cant understand what the lyrics are unless you listen to the song properly.
