she's hiding something from you, does she say it often because if she isn't then maybe it's not that bad, maybe she's making a surprise from you or something, but if she asks you not to call her every single day then she's probably up to something, my nextdoor neighbor's wife was worried that her husband was cheating on her so she hired an undercover detective to go stalk him and see what he was up to and it turns out that in fact that he was cheating on her. SO yeah... just make sure that it doesn't happen TOOOo often if it's like once in a whole time don't worry about it she probably has her reason. Trust that you have chosen her as your spouse for a reason, it's because you love her and trust her right? Don't let it bother you too much , or you're gonna become paranoid. GOOD LUCK :)

If she is at work perhaps she is just too busy to chat. If she is at home l'm not so sure, maybe you should ask her. I don't think you making a simple phone call is being controlling unless of course you are calling her constantly through out the day for no good reason. I enjoy my husband ringing occasionally to say hello. It just let's me know he is thinking of me and he cares.

I guess it depends on your situation. If she has an important job that she can't have disrupted then I think you are freaking out over nothing. But if she is at home then you should talk to her about it. If you love her trust her and talk to her. Have you tried asking her if there is a good time to call if you want to? Getting the point across to her could help your feelings of anxiety about her not wanting you to call.

My husband calls me 4 or 5 times a day, just to chat. I don't see anything wrong with it at all. I think she is being too controlling by telling you what to do. Unless, of course, you are calling her at work and she is getting in trouble. No one at work here cares if we get personal calls.

Well, if she's at work, it probably means she's busy. If she's at home with no kids and no job, then there may be something to worry about.

But even then, some people just have their own level of comfort. Some people start crying if they haven't heard from their honey bunch in an hour, others need their space. I'll dump a girl if she can't go for a week without me... and I've dated girs who dumped me because they couldn't go for a week without me.

Is there a good reason she doesn't want you to call her? Perhaps minutes on a cell phone are limited or costly during the day, or she's working and is afraid of getting in trouble.

Depends...I love my husband and am completely faithful to him. BUT, I also love my daytime space away from him. It gives me a chance to actually miss him! And if I go the whole work day without talking to him, I miss him much more and am much happier and excited to see him when I get home. I think it's very healthy for our marriage. Plus, most of the time if he doesn't call me, I end up calling him anyway~~!!

Are you asking her what she's doing all of the time? Maybe she just wants a break from talking to you. What do you talk about every day all day? Gets a little boring. I'd rather hear about my husband day when he gets home.
