I'm rather fond of Edgar Allen Poe's work, but have been wondering something for a while. My two favorite poems written by him are "The Raven" and "Annabel Lee". What are the similaritites and differences between these two? Am I right in thinking that both mention lost loves? And if so, what other similarities are there, if any? Are there any differences?

Sorry, that's four questions. Poe kind of makes me forgot what I'm doing. :D

EVERYTHING by Poe is about a lost love. In "Raven" the hot babe comes back from the dead in the form of a sexy black raven. Annabel Lee gets buried and stays buried. In both poems, the guy gets laid before the chick dies. Annabel Lee died many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea. The Raven chick's boyfriend is in a freakin' library in the middle of the night thinking of how good it used to be. He seems to be really upset about the fact that he isn't getting any, since his lady went and died on him, not very long ago. Annabel Lee's lover is pissed with everyone EXCEPT Annabel. The Raven chick's lover thinks he is really cool and everyone else is pretty laid back but he wants to break the stupid raven's neck.
