L'Opera is really good. In a special feature I wrote I included it in my list of 18 best restaurants in the world. A nice glass wall between kitchen and dining room let's you see the Chefs in action! Enjoy!

Though not in Long Beach, it is close. Finbars at 620 Pacific Coast Hwy Seal Beach, CA 90740 is great.

Second vote for L'Opera. The Sky Room is also very good with a great view of downtown Long Beach...
