"In the naaaaaaaaaaaame of love..." Happy MLK day everyone. Now let's actually make something of it and make his wish come true already! So anyway...back to U2. I couldn't pick just one but I was able to pick my favorite one for each album

Boy- "I Will Follow"
October- "Rejoice"
War- "Sunday Bloody Sunday" or "Seconds"
The Unforgettable Fire- "MLK"
The Joshua Tree- "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"
Rattle And Hum- "Desire" or ISHFWILF live
Achtung Baby- "Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World" or "Until The End Of The World"
Zooropa- "Dirty Day" or "The Wanderer" w/Johnny Cash
Pop- "Staring At The Sun"
All That You Can't Leave Behind- "In A Little While" or "Wild Honey"
How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own"

I think my very favorite ones though are their B-sides like "Your Blue Room" and "Electrical Storm"

It's just so hard to pick a favorite album or song of theirs because they're all special and none of their songs are filler

As much as I love Walk On (kudos to the guy who posted above; that is just an incredible song with true power and emotion behind it) I have to say my favorite is the one, the only, Bad. Never before have I heard such emotion in a song. It doesn't have the slamming guitar riffs like those in Walk On, but the emotion in Bono's voice is simply unmatched. The song is about a friend on heroine, and how Bono will be there for him and stuff. Just the way he screams "I'm wide awake" is chilling, it really shows the power in the song. The closing whispers of "I'm not sleeping" really show how much heart Bono (and the whole band for that matter) put into the song. It incredible to watch him sing it live - it shows the emotion you don't get to see when listening to it (specifically the DVD of the Elevation Tour in Boston). I love everything about that song - it is my favorite of all time.

If you haven't heard it, its on the Unforgettable Fire, and while it does take a few times to grow on you, you can hear how great that song truely is.

Walk On

It is such an incredible song in so many ways; from the roots of the song, why Bono wrote it, to how the Edge paints a musical canvas with his guitar in it, to what it makes me feel like everytime I hear it. And the way they play it live, the way they change it up and make it into a 'this song is bigger than life' cresendo at the end of their concerts (Elevation, I saw twice live, countless times on DVD) It became, for me, a song too big for itself. As a band, they have over the years continued to amaze me, but this song was exceptional.

'Leave it behind'

I HATE U2. there's no longer a band I dislike more effective than them. the in common words track i'll tolerate is the only it truly is like "an section bypass vertigo" and that is because its catchy. yet it truly is for sure in basic terms me. and that i do not advise to offend.

I have been loving their works for 2 decade. Imagine back then I was in the beginning of my teenage.

Just when are they coming to Asia for a concert?
