Okay so everyone says never leave an answer blank....and one of my friends said that if i were to put any one letter choice concistantly for the whole test i could get an 18 on that section because each letter they use 25% of or somthing like that.

So if i was guessing a question or I just ran out of time and had to fill in bubbles...would it be the right thing to do to fill in one consistant choice of a letter? Should it be C????

Well on the ACT you dont get points counted off for choosing a wrong answer, so answer as many as you can, although i would recommend narrowing down your choices before guessing, but if you have 1 or 2 minutes left, I dont see the harm in doing that, since you have more of a chance of getting more right.

Also, don't get frustrated and flustered if you have only gotten through about half of the section and time is running out, because they make the test to where you won't be able to answer them all, unless your a genius, and then there wouldn't be a reason for you to take the ACT. A calm outlook will help you best on the test.

But remember to study, and not just the night before hand because it wont help. Each time you review material, you only take in about 20% of it.

Don't just randomly guess. You're aren't supposed to guess until you can eliminate at least one, if not two, of the answers. You get either 1/4 or 1/3 of a point off for each wrong answer, but you get 0 points for something left blank. I know it goes against everything you've learned so far, but if you run out of time, don't just fill in the bubbles.

If you dont know the answer then GUESS, you get a full point off if you dont answer, you might as well. Yes I've heard that B and C are the most common answers, but always try to eliminate a couple first.
The SAT is different from the ACT, on the SAT you only get 1/3 or 1/4 of a point off if you dont answer, but on the ACT you get a full point off.
