I work at Starbuck's and have for almost 2 yr now. They pay more than min. you also get tips and the benefits are great . I tell people I work at Starbuck's to support my habit. You receive a free lb of cofee every week. Starbuck's has very good training and it helps to love coffee and coffeelovers. The best way to get hired is to get multiple applications and turn them into every Starbuck's in your area. Sometimes a follow up telephone call may work but I think a follow up letter will be a better eye opener for our very busy managers . Also if you can get a good word from someone who already works there that will be great. Good Luck !

Dont work there unless you can stand working with hundred of strangers usually in a rush and dealing with the few percent who can actually taste the difference if you made a mistake. Prices vary from store location and how badly they need to hire...
Not hard to get hired... again you need to tell me where you live to know about how hard it is to get hired. The managers are usually friendly becuase they were once in your position and probably not as far back as you might think...
Good luck..., If you can work at a day care, Or any Private industries, they usually pay for more than minimum wage as far as my expierence goes. Or better yet, dont work there, go to school, learn something good and own a starbucks location instead of making the drinks :)....

I hear Starbucks are really laid back and that pay can sometimes be upwards of 8 dollars. (I'm in CA)
I doubt its hard to get hired becuase when I go its usually teenagers with tattoos and piercings.
And The managers well.. it gets to their head, so good luck
